Would like a bit more depth of field. The haystacks almost blends in with the background. With the bird lined up it seems omenious. A seen from a horror movie. I like how some of the birds are in motion and some are just sitting there.

Cropping some of the ground would help to give more attention to the birds. If you remove about half of the ground. You would frame the birds better.

I like the idea and it's bang on for the challenge. I don't like the dark muted colors. Not enough contrast to give it any interest. Also the lower right is an unimportant aspect to the shot. Perhaps a tighter crop. [?]

I really like how the slow shutter speed has captured the birds motion and blurred their wings slightly. Combined with the duotone coloring of the image, it really adds a sense of "feeling" to this image. The bales of hay are a great setting... I can almost hear the birds "cawing"...

This photo just makes me want to know this lady. The stories she could tell or the notes she could sing, 'cause from this photo I'm sure she's done a fair amount of both in her lifetime. Absolutely beautiful photo.

Great subject and a good pose, but really needs more DOF, especially on those forelegs. Might have had more impact with a tighter crop on the head. I like the orange/green background.
