Cooked Duckby Hey_You_3000Comment by Yo_Spiff: No vote, but a comment. I like the comp, though the colors/contrast and maybe the sharpness need to probably come up a hair more. The carving knife is a nice, threatening touch. There's a bit of a seam showing in the background. If this were advanced editing you could clone it out, but under basic rules, you just need to watch out for such things.
Love,
-Dad. |

Cooked Duckby Hey_You_3000Comment by Puckzzz: OK I'm gonna try to give constructive criticism here:
The idea is nice, but you didn't notice your towelthingy (don't know the name) had holes on the edges? The bowl has a nice shape. It would've been a lot better if you had taken that white cardboard and placed it under the bowl and then bending it upwards (against the wall or something) to create some sort of even background. And a little lower p.o.v. No knife or towel. just my 2 cts. |

Cooked Duckby Hey_You_3000Comment by Nuzzer: Lacks something - it just feels like someone popped a few ducks in a dish, set the camera to auto and clicked |

Gone home for the eveningby Hey_You_3000Comment by Yo_Spiff: Looks familiar...
No vote from me on this since I know whose it is. I can still see some grainy noise in the sky on this using the calibrated monitor at work. It's noticeable, but not really bad. I'm curious if others will mention it. If this were advanced editing you could have cleaned that noise up without hurting the rest of the image. |
