The subject matter in this photograph does not appeal to me, but it fits the idea of texture very well. Technically, the main subject is sharp and the background is nicely out of focus. The exposure is also correct. One thing that hurts the quality, however, is the JPEG compression artifacts. The picture is only 44K in file size and the rules allow up to 150K. Saving this picture at a higher JPEG quality level would have improved the detail. *5* -balynch
