The Shadowby thelselComment by slgardner: I really like the noise added to this photo to add to the nightmarish effect. Good expression too. Does not have that "posed" look to it. Lighting really emphasized the eye and the shadow. Well done. |

The Shadowby thelselComment by LucidLotus: I love this photograph. It feels very Hitchcock to me. There's a coarseness to the photo that really grabs the eye, it plays well with the black & white. Definitely gives that sharp stroke of fear. Great work, gave it a 9 |

The Shadowby thelselComment by dsa157: nicely composed shot. I like the catchlight in the boy's eye and his open mouth look of fear. I think a grainy effect could have worked well here but the way you implemented it is too harsh. subtler grain tones would have been better. |

The Shadowby thelselComment by kostia: Best I\'ve seen so far. The grain, the black and white, the shadow, the look on the boy\'s face ... this is a classic nightmare shot. I can't get over how well this meets the challenge; I keep coming back to look! |
