The New Kidby thelselComment by LucidLotus: Nice image, I like the duo-tone look. Great use of space, very alone feeling. Child's posture helps convey the feeling well. With the title, I'm wondering if this would have a greater impact if a playground/schoolyard scene was in the background. Just a thought. 7 |

The New Kidby thelselComment by KarenB: hmmm. "The new kid" title might have gone well with a group of children behind the subject out of the focal plane. However, this is a strong representation of alone in the image itself. Interesting composition, lines, textures. |
