Good overall exposure. Though the lighting angle seems to be a bit too much to the rear, which shadows the message. Overall a very good effort and well themed for the challenge. 9

Hi Tom,

First your shot meets the challenge well with your title and edge of fire.

Your photo has great lines. You led our eyes right to what your subject is, the line of fire and possibly unconciously the word smokey. Having the line located where you did, is what I like the most, besides the nice contrasts.

Your dof is right on. The focus on the close sheet and off focus on background is perfect.

I have nothing negative to say about the shot.

Keep up the great work.

Good, creative idea adding a bit of message into the bargain. The lighting is a bit awkward being so harsh and low and the spoon looks out of place with the bowl.

One of my top scores of the week, because: 1) You actually know what propaganda is. 2) You made an interesting image. 3) Your image can stand alone without exposition in the title!!! So really, you're one of only a handful who didn't really irk me...
