Match!by jbushyComment by posthumous: Amazing capture. I can't believe the score.
It amazes me that DPCers would rather have you fake it than see something real. |

Match!by jbushyComment by boyd2000: I figured out what this was right away looking at it again now. Yes, you're right, a rear-curtain flash would really help. However rather than taking 100 shots or maybe 1000 if you're trying to get the exact timing of the rear flash you could fake it like others have and have the ball stationary on the line at the start of a long exposure and jerk it away with monofilament. |

Match!by jbushyComment by dahkota: Good action/stop motion shot that could use some post editing. With a little tweak on sharpness, contrast and color, your DPC score would probably be a point higher. I rate on the photograph taken more than the editing in this type of image so...6 |

Match!by jbushyComment by boyd2000: I don't know what this is, and the title doesn't help. It looks like a reflection of something. It's not very sharp. However I'll give it points for meeting the challenge. |

Match!by jbushyComment by kteach: Interesting take on the challenge. Such a significant line that can make or break a game, and I like the motion captured. Coloring seems a little flat to me. A little more contrast or a soft light layer might help to really bring out the contrast of the red and green, as well as the white line. |

Match!by jbushyComment by MaryO: Like the idea of the motion shot, though it kind of makes the ball more of the subject than the line. It bothers me a bit that the line appears to be on top of the ball, from a reality perspective (though it makes more sense for the challenge). I keep wanting to see it recede behind the ball where my brain says it belongs. |
