Heatwave Desolationby sandabellaComment by rcrawford: I like the idea of this photo. If you could isolate just one dead leaf and focus on it then your eye would have a place to land, if that leaf was in the rule of thirds that would help the composition too. Good Job. |

Heatwave Desolationby sandabellaComment by mtreit: Good idea, showing the dead flowers. However, the background is distracting, and the foreground of the picture is out of focus. I think a greater depth of field and a different angle would have helped. |

The Right Way!by sandabellaComment by KevinRiggs: The right angles at the crenelations (I believe that's what those are) are good and you have a long enough run of them so that they could be the subject against the blue sky but the tree/bush in the FG distracts from the angles. - 5 |

The Right Way!by sandabellaComment by Olyuzi: Good exposure but the tree obstructing the view ruins the picture for me. I do like the way the blue sky contrasts with the stone of the architecture. |

The Right Way!by sandabellaComment by faidoi: Subject matter is boring. Composition is not interesting. You have the idea of getting the roofline. The shape are nice. More interesting in you zoom in a little bit more or getting the corner of the building. The vertical line of the side of the building would add a little something. Exposure is pretty good.
Remember it's a digital camera. Don't be afraid to take a lot of shots. Professional photographers take hundred or even thousands to get a few good shots. |
