I see some major effort here, but I feel the shot is seriously overdone. The water has crisp details, but the bird's body is soft looking. It seems out of place. There is also a heavily visible tilt to this that is easy to fix.

I'm not a fan of the sharpness at the background and the pp on the bird and foreground. I love the details on the foreground, the colors and light though.

I shall be rating this challenge by the following criteria:

1 - Not HDR in my opinion

3 - HDR is way over-done, in my opinion

5 - A reasonable use of HDR, but not a very engaging photo, in my opinion

7 - A reasonable use of HDR, and an engaging photo, in my opinion

10 - A fantastic use of HDR, and an out of this world photo, in my opinion

The desat I think could work but a couple of leaves at the back are half grey/half green and appear to be an oversight rather than intentional.
