looks really grainy probably due to really close croppping it looks like. other then that its a nice image of a bird i have never seen before, and he really stands out well against the leaves

To much of a snapshot to go over well in the challenge, IMO. A few thing that are distracting me. First is the sky, looks as if it has been selectively tuned up and doesn't look natural especially where it meets the tree line. Second, above the roof of the car on the right an obvious cloning job has been preformed. When cloning it needs to look natural. And third, everything (including the pavement) has a greenish hue. I wish you well in the challenge.
