Day20.jpgby JakerComment by Retroesque: I love photographing musicians - it's inspiring. This guy looks less than happy though, maybe an image of him 'into' his drumming would have worked better. |

Day13one.jpgby JakerComment by Ken: I like the other one better but will comment here because of your request for help on banding. There are a couple things you can do, and the first is to shoot in raw if you aren't. Raw is 16 bit and will allow for smoother transitions due to more data present, especially if you are doing a lot of editing. For pictures that are 8 bit or even 16 bit that have banding, add a bit of noise to the affected area. It may not work perfectly, but at least it will fool the eye. Feel free to pm if you have questions. |

Actually, it looks purposeful. And, it works. |

day-21.jpgby JakerComment by Neil: Negative works pretty well here. Perhaps blacks need to be adjusted a bit, but nice overall! |

final-edit.jpgby JakerComment by pixelpig: He looks more important w/the new crop & I like being able to see all his fingers on the guitar. Good work! |

Day11.jpgby JakerComment by Ken: This is a popular scene around here, and you've done quite the job of capturing it well. I like the strong horizontal lines and especially the arc create by the gulls. |
