HI Shane...I looooooove the blues in this image...so "prussian" blue...one of my very favorite colors...and the light reflecting from those few buildings...wonderful! To me this is such a quiet...soulful image...this is a "typical"skyline picture to me...into my favorites it goes.

I love this shot and couldn't figure out why it didn't quite work and/or place higher. I think it may have had to do with the aspect ratio you chose to use. It seems to be close to a 4x5 (8x10) frame but not quite. I would suggest trying it either as a 5x7 or 4x6 and thus eliminating the slightly too overwhelming darkness of the "natural frame" of the buildings to what is a powerful and dramatic composition.

Otherwise, to my eye, a very lovely image!

Striking composition. The looming canyon of the framing buildings creates an original & effective point of view of the subject. The fact that it is one of my favourite buildings makes me like it even more.
