good try at "abstract dining" i have two suggestions: wipe the crumbs off the tablemat, and pull the same down a little so that you don't see the wood table. Those two things, imo, would have given you a higher score from the "stock photography group" here at dpc. Personally, that gets old for me. I like your impromptu creativity. I don't think theres a enough of it around here. Cool shot, nice work. 7.

I think it would've been better if the table/cloth and fork was clean.

Colours are a bit harsh and the definition is lost through glare. I can't see much to lock on to so for me it lacks a focal point.

the light and shadow are wonderful in this shot. Not sure if I get dream out of it. given the title I wonder if a shot taken in the first person would have worked better? where the feel is as though I am seeing this from the beach as opposed from above and on the water.

As you title suggests, there somehow should be a person in this shot. Your photo has a nice abastractiveness to it. Lovely blue colour - too bad the sand is not more oringy to give contrast to the blue. Love how it sparkles, but it could be more in focus (the whole image is a bit pixelated).
