Hot Bath by Firstrich1Comment by Firstrich1: Once again I gave myself about one hour to get this shot from camera to the challenge:) no time to make comments or pick a gallery to place this in. My wife does a great job of putting up with me and allowing herself to become a model. There is water in the tub as well as bubbles but the low light hides that truth. The water level could have been higher.
Thanks to all those that rated this so well....
To those that felt this rated a 1 or a 2 I sure would like to know how I failed your sense of even a three? but alas you are the very, very, very few:) you work out to be about 1 percent of the voting public and with that "Insignificant" Message edited by author 2004-02-18 03:29:36. |

Hot Bath by Firstrich1Comment by justine: I am only bothered by the lack of focus and the strong light in the back on the wall. I know....sounds picky but that is how I see this other wise attractive shot. It's a good entry for the challenge, good luck. |

Hot Bath by Firstrich1Comment by Ranger: Good shot with female slightly off focus, creating just the right sort of atmosphere... Maybe I would have like it even more if the hand or the glass were removed... A little too much emphasis on the hand and glass steals away the attention from the lovely lady. All in all - you place within the top two entries in my book at least. |

Hot Bath by Firstrich1Comment by devinbalet: i like the selective depth of field. needs more light on the glass however since that is your main subject, a little dark. |

Hot Bath by Firstrich1Comment by jpochard: Very nice. Really captures the "Letting Go" theme. Composition is good...I like the way you got the feel of the subject, yet focused on the glass. The tone is also fitting. (On second look I went back and raised the score on this one.) |

Hot Bath by Firstrich1Comment by imacmike: Great composotion and I like the contrast levels. The way the glass draws the eye to the foreground is nice too. Black & white gives it a feeling that color can't achieve. I really like it. |

Domainby Firstrich1Comment by HRoxas: Very busy background. good use of shallow dof isolated the subject from the rest of the photo. well done. 8 |
