Good idea, but it really needs more light, I think. Right now, it is kinda "muddy" looking. Also, there isn't a lot of difference between the greens and yellows of the fruit (more light can help that sometimes, too), so it is not as effective as it could be, I don't think.

This shot is underexposed for me. Also, I can't figure out why there is wet paper all around. The colors are really drab and I think the lighting just needs to be fixed

I feel this shot doesn't really work for me, for a few reasons. The green seems to interrupt the flow of the colour on colour, and distracts me from the subject of the image. It looks as though you used a flash for this shot, and this could work if you have the light bouncing off the roof (Flash), or use some other source of lighting, as the direct flash gives some blare off the inside of the lemons. I think whole lemons could also have made the shot slightly more attractive. Hope this helps.
