Day 7: Night Swimming!by bobonacusComment by Prism: Love the reflections and the contrast of the white swan against the dark background. I would be tempted to completely clone out the green bits on the left so that it is all dark and then to balance it, clone the water line from the right onto the left side as well, following the same angle, but that's just me. :) Nicely captured! |

Day 4: Heronby bobonacusComment by JuliBoc: Nice detail on the bird. But what I really like is the background -- the lovely tall plants with the yellow flowers and the gently curving leaves. |

Day 6: Mothers Loveby bobonacusComment by JuliBoc: Oh, that is so cute. I have never seen a little one under the wing like that. This image makes me think of a sketch I bought about 40 years ago. It was of a baby camel nursing, and the mother's head was not shown. I think a slight vignetting (in all four corners) would help this image. The line of the mother's neck takes the eye up and out of the picture. With the vignetting, focus would be directed more toward the center and the missing head wouldn't be an issue.
P.S. I found the missing head. Mary took it on Day 4. Message edited by author 2008-06-08 00:43:53. |
