Day 9 : Pinkby bobonacusComment by sherpet: I like the delicate nature of this one also, but would like to see a tighter crop to take away the lighter shades of color down on the left side, and also on the right side, but not as much. Does that make sense to you. I really do like the detail, color, and textures of the center of this delicate flower. |

Day 7: The Colour Purpleby bobonacusComment by one2one: Lovely colours. The lighting is harsh and not too flattering for these beautiful buds. Having it centered like that didn't help in the interest department either. Sorry if I seem harsh but I see so many flower shots here, i'm not suggesting it's a bad thing, that I guess I'm getting more critical when commenting about the images. |

Day 4: Heronby bobonacusComment by tnun: Sigh. I have herons very close by but can never get close enough with my equipment for this kind of detail. Nice treat to see the eye and that curvy top feather(?) hanging down. Great lighting and DOF to render his body curves against the bg. |

Day 5: Swan Lunch, Not Swan Lake!by bobonacusComment by tnun: Very nice horizontals and verticals. Placement of the 2 swans and the near and far segments/stripes of grass! Nice coordinating greens of trees and grass. (I think I would crop out tree on left and the foregrass up about an inch, just to make the most of the good compositional elements you already have). |
