Passenger Sideby bobonacusComment by dtremain: Very nice shot. Passengers? Hand 'em a set of earplugs and drive on. Open air cars were not meant to be quiet. Neither were fast ones. Combined? Forget it! Earplugs.

Bug Eyes!by bobonacusComment by dtremain: I like this shot a lot. The background works as a perfect frame for the car. The clouds reflected in the paint, the low angle and nice crisp insignia, even the highlights on the left fender and hood. That nose almost wants to be peeping out of something - a garage, barn, stable? The blue paint really stands out. Very, very nice. |

Wide Angle Westyby bobonacusComment by dtremain: Unusual angle and one I'm not fond of - not sure why. Almost makes the car look bent and not straight. I think it may be that the front wheels are turned. Nice capture of seat in rear view mirror. Keep an eye out for what is reflected in the paint - that light pole(?) in the nose is pretty obvious.
OK. I'm green with jealousy over the car. Was your daughter really riding behind the white seats to take your day 1 picture? That doesn't look very comfortable...

Westfieldby bobonacusComment by dtremain: What a fun car! A couple of nits on this: the top of the rollbar aligns with the bottom edge of the hedge. Parking the car forward a couple of feet, or shooting from a higher perspective would remove this unfortunate juxtaposition. Also, the two white objects at the base of the hedge REALLY show up in this light - quick clone brush would take care of those.

Bug Eyes!by bobonacusComment by bobonacus: caterham bought the rights to the lotus seven, westfields are technically a copy. Both companies still sell kits and fully made cars. |

Input Deviceby bobonacusComment by dtremain: I find it amazing what a simple shot can convey about a car. Momo is a world-class aftermarket parts provider of performance equipment. The worn rim shouts of DRIVING the car, and the wood dash with basic mounting of gauges speaks of customization. I'd be tempted to drape the keys just to the right of the center of the steering wheel and change the caption to "Want to Drive?" |
