Predatorby bobonacusComment by 3DsArcher: Your timing is spot on. The colour seems a little washed out which could be improved by boosting the levels slightly. |

Predatorby bobonacusComment by Ja-9: I really like your shot but your colors are a little dull/flat....did you do curves/levels or apply a gradient? |

Predatorby bobonacusComment by Bill666: Love the angle of the wings. The 2 yellow flowers are slightly distracting though, for me it would have been better with these cloned out. |

Predatorby bobonacusComment by Leo: Nice capture, but too centered. I think these shots are more "pleasing" to the eye when you use the rule of thirds and to have the subject/bird fly into the frame instead of being centered. The bird is nice and crisp, nicely focused, nice spread of the wings. |

Balcony Furnitureby bobonacusComment by salmiakki: Greetings from the Critique Club
Technically this is a good shot, not blown out anywhere etc. The composition is also good, and if it was a different challenge topic, I am certain it would have received higher scores. However, I believe there is only really a tenuous relationship between the photo and the challenge topic. Yes, it does have furniture in it, but is the furniture the main subject of the image, well, I don't really think so. Seems a bit of a shoehorn entry and I can't help feeling this is why you received a sub five score.
As I said, I think if you had this in a different challenge, then it may have scored better. |

Balcony Furnitureby bobonacusComment by Teafran: The chairs and table disappear into the detailed wall - the eye has to search around to find the subject instead of being immediately attracted to it. Given it's rather bland color obscured positioning the subject fails to attract an interest. |
