A Long Traditionby wei1108Comment by hotpasta: good point of view, but looks more like a holiday snapshot than a well thought out image...the scene has much more potential |

A Long Traditionby wei1108Comment by Ja-9: must have been in China? very interesting...I almost think that I would have cropped out the right side of the picture...as much as possible and made the lines of the weaving pull you into the isolated picture...just a thought |

A Long Traditionby wei1108Comment by CNovack: Great title thats plays into the cultural tradition that is passed down from generation to generation. You show me this woman at work weaving but you do so at an angle that is visually interesting. I get to see the patterns and the threads that either can be seen as extending out towards me or that my eye travels down the leading lines to see her hands at work. A very National Geographic type of shot capturing mood, feel, and culture of this asian region. Would be most curious to find out where this location is once rollover happens. |

A Long Traditionby wei1108Comment by J-Me: This one tells a beautiful story and captured my interest far more than the "pretty" landscapes and insects on flowers! Good going! 8 |

A Long Traditionby wei1108Comment by VitaminB: I like the desaturated look in this shot, gives it a rustic feel. Great composition too, using the lines to draw the viewer toward the weaver. |

A Long Traditionby wei1108Comment by robm001: Nice angle to subject. IMO could have gone even farther to her right getting rid of some of the distraction in the right of the frame. |
