Which Knee?by reneekerrComment by reneekerr: To Sjhuls -I was out looking for a ladybug or grasshopper for the challenge when I came across this spider and to my humorous mind the title popped into my head and I took the shot for this challenge.
FYI - don't listen to the voices in your head!!! :) |

Wind & Rainby reneekerrComment by vawendy: I'm sorry, but this doesn't convey sound to me. I don't see the rain, and I would have thought if it was windy, that they would be blowing or leaning at least a little to one side. It's a lovely shot, but it doesn't fit the challenge, imo. Which Knee?by reneekerrComment by sjhuls: A bit too much of a stretch for me, almost like you made a picture you already had work for the callenge, instead of the other way around. |

Which Knee?by reneekerrComment by lawrysimm: Nice shoehorn. You have also captured above the knee, so I'm saying DNMC. In fact spiders don't even have knees as they have an exoskeleton and use liquid pressure to flex at the joints, so especially DNMC. |

Rainy Daysby reneekerrComment by FocusPoint: Good macro. 5
Additional comments:
I am not sure if you could crop this closer, or get closer more, but it would be much better if I see the bug closer bit more. With the blurry antenna, I can say you didn't shoot it with fast shutter speed (not enough to freeze the movements). It is little overexposed, so you did have more speed option for the shutter. Final thoughts, nice try, get a macro lens or extension tubes like i did (very cheap from amazon) to try better macros in the future :)
Good luck |
