Since I'm becoming one, I find I enjoy photographs of older women with character - shots that show their strengths, not their frailties. This does that nicely. |

Nice placement of the subject in the comp - although a split second sooner would have given more "breathing room" for the kids and boat to move into. Processing is "ok" - vignette is a little strong for my taste and the grain in the middle tones lower-center is distracting. |

Aha! light..by Thaddeus_SmithComment by smudgeSMJ: This pic seems very grainy to me, not very sharp. Also, have to say I don't find it a very interesting subject, there's no story or emotion here, just straightforward pic of a light. No creative angle, no creative cropping. Doesn't make me feel anything, you know? |
