Broken Mirror = 7 years bad luck by TwocentzComment by BobsterLobster: A beautiful picture, this one really appeals to me. The sepia toning is very effective, and adds to the wistful expression in the eyes. I'm sure the crack running across the face has some kind of deep psychological symbolism here, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Perhaps like a kind of heartbreak or loss. Shame about the distracting background in the mirror. The white background works very well. It's also a shame that the border is not an even width at the bottom. 9 |

The Hockey Newsby TwocentzComment by brentg3: This would have been the perfect shot if you could have got the player very sharp with the movement blur beyond him!! Im sure that is what you were trying to do??!!

Broken Mirror = 7 years bad luck by TwocentzComment by wingy: I like the way you've captured the face here. The skin tones are wonderful and I really like how those eyes look. The only thing I'd question here is how the mirror crack lines up.. something just seems off about it, how it follows the bridge of the nose so perfectly and then veers off the face.. I think I'd like if it either continued on down through the mouth or if it didn't follow the nose so closely in the first place. That is getting pretty picky though. I really like the capture here. Good work. 8 |

The Hockey Newsby TwocentzComment by Twocentz: Thank you all for the comments. Much appreciated :)
Prhorton - he has a hockey stick in his hands. But it is sort of hard to see because the blade of his stick is parallel to his black hockey glove. So it blends right in there with his glove =\ |
