Augh - I'm having flashbacks to cleaning my deck, here.... Them otion blur is a nice effect, but I think I'd like it better if the shutter had been a little quicker - the blur here is enough that (at least for me) it makes looking at them hard on the eyes. I like the decision to shoot them against just the cloudy sky - the color contrast is particularly striking.

Dear Jon ,it wasn't the color that cuaght my eye! It was the natural motion produced by the hump < bump? > LOL! dangling from the roof !!! It just automatically made me look to the rear of the car , Which was already moving !

Such a beautiful shot. You are either really tall or you stuck you camera up to get the picture of the peoples' head. The b&w with a touch of cyan left makes it very interesting. Contrast is great.

This would probably make for a good ad picture for taking public transportation instead of driving. Very nice.

I use to love these things. I actually thought of these myself, but could not find any. Tough challenge to shoot these. I like that they have a motion blur to them, shows they fly. Did you try shooting from a bit farther away with a longer exposure time to get a blur down the path of their flight? That is what I had thought of. Probably need a lot less lighting to get that though.
