Pride of London [cam orig]by ImagineerComment by Imagineer: It's interesting - because I'm a purist too, but for me the light pollution over London is impure. My aim on this shot was to present the subject in a way that was more aesthetic - emulating a sky with no ugly neon glow. |

Pride of London [option 2]by ImagineerComment by Imagineer: Interesting. I only preferred the submission because of the detail in the bridge rails and the fact that they show more sky through them. Also, St Pauls is larger and more detailed in the frame.
Lens was my 17-85mm IS.

Pride of London [option 2]by ImagineerComment by geewhy: I`m with Neil on this Jon,maybe cropping a little off the left of the image to where you had the original but including everything else, makes
it even more dramatic for me.
Incidentally, what lens did you use for this shot ? |
