Viewpoints by ImagineerComment by Imagineer: Thanks so much for the warming comments. The 115 mentions here amount to a fair bit of time spent looking at this, so it does mean a lot to me (the best element of this site are, as ever, the written thoughts).
For the record, I was in two minds about the toning, but I did want something warm, radiant and eye-catching that reflected the energy of these amazingly supple gymnasts. They were all amateurs 'off the street' and thoroughly nice guys too. The photo does look quite busy at this size but I can tell you that the full size version is oozing with detail and little facets of interest. Here's a detail from the print:

Lots of drama here. Very interesting pov. A favorite of mine in this challenge. Could be used to illustrate Edgar Allen Poe, "The Raven." |
