Harris Hawkby ImagineerComment by Tanny: I adore Harris Hawks (Parabuteo Unicinctus) and have trained at least 4 of them, each with their own unique characteristics. I might add that i have trained them for educational purposes at bird of prey centres. And although they are captive each one flew free and hunted successfully.
They truly are unbelievable and with each bird i truly had massive respect for.
Great photo, however when the sun hits the colours on the wings it really makes them glow and would imo make for an outstanding picture, as yet i have not seen one but would be impressed if i do.
This bird is a under a year old as it displays an immature plumage, when a year old and they moult they turn a real dark colour with magnificent 3 tone chestnut colouration within the wings. |

River Walkby ImagineerComment by Jutilda: This is lovely. The steam rising off of the water creates an ethereal mood. The placement of the bench is a nice touch. |

Metallergic Reactionby ImagineerComment by AlainD: beautiful composition, full of contrasts: grey car vs. vividly colored clamp, nice cruves and shapes of the car and the alloy vs. flat clamp, sports car with high performance tyres vs. it is chained, clean car vs. dirty clamp, etc. Really impressive. |
