i can see why you'd want to use such a photo since the characters are sorta accidentally playing cooperating with each other. Since the subjects are not really cooperating with the camera however, it gets a bit confusing ... but after looking at it a bit, I get it.

these photos are all so amazing. the composition and presentation of this one makes it seem almost meaningful as a piece of art beyond the photojournalistic aspect. Not sure what it means but I like it a lot.

I was a true 'naturalist' photographer a few times out there. It is a lot of fun taking a shower in a tiny puddle. You should try it sometime. - Steve

Hm.. not sure about this photo. Its an interesting glimpse into some sort of social event, odd stuff going on there! But beyond that initial, whattheheck??, my eyes have nothing in particular it wishes to linger on. The control of the ambient light is good and the photo has some good focus and clarity for the most part. I think this shot is good for the challenge (he could be anywhere in that crowd) but outside of that arena I don't find anything to draw me in. I gave a 5
