To be honest, I am not particularly fond of this shot... The out of focus glass doesnt add much to the image, and yet seems to dominate the photo.

I like the feel of this a lot. I find the lamp cord (is that what that is on the left?) distracting. Maybe put something there to block it?

There is a lack of clarity here and I think I know at least part of what is causing it. Your file size is only 26k when you could have used up to 150k. This indicates a lot of JPEG compression, which is surely taking a lot of detail out of your photo. Check the JPEG compression settings in your image editor and always try to save as close to the limit for a challenge as you can get it without going over.

Aside from that, this is a pretty decent still life. Composition may be a little too even, but that's very subjective.
