Are those multicolored speckles the image grain? I'm not sure if this is a serious entry and you misunderstood the concept, or if this is a wonderful and brilliant spoof.

I expect this will still end up over a 5, simply because the underlying shot is pretty good. (Looks like a lunar module, rather than a lifeguard stand.)

Watch the JPEG compression. I see some artifacts around the tip of the land and a 47k file size says you could have easily avoided it with less compression.

Maybe you should've left the sky out of this photo as the slow shutter made the bright part of the sky overexposed. Cropped it or framing it otherwise would've prevented that. It could also have been sharper, and I think the tones of this picture would benefit from increasing the contrast. But it is duotones! And your idea is good, so keep it up!

A good solid image that is crisp, sharp and properly framed and composed - a technical success in every way. From an artistic standpoint, it is an intersting image but of less than universal appeal. A good entry into the challenge.
