People came up with some gorgeous black and white shots for this challenge, this being one of them :). The shadows on the wall, the highlights in the glasses, the shapes of the glasses and stems all gel really well for me, and black and white enhances it considerably. I feel like I'm giving out too many 10s, but here goes another one!

This has a nice antique feel to it. Nice focus, though I wish more of the instrument were visible, maybe zoom out a bit and include the mouthpiece (as a separate object--keeping with the disassembled look)

This doesn't seem to be doing too great of a job at selling the sax (or whatever it may be). I think a fuller shot of instrument, or even the instrument being played would work better.

IMO, macro photography works much better when it's sharp throughout, or at least the entire foreground is within the DOF. The highlight in the foreground draws my eye right to the out of focus part of the bell.
