I feel like there could somehow be more to this image. It's a nice visual, but I cannot figure out what it's trying to say to me. Maybe a tighter crop on the building to have less empty sky/water would be helpful.

Obvious tripod use: High. I was thinking of medium/high, but with the very low noise you likely had to use a low ISO.

Large aperture, high ISO, and lens or body stabilization *could* have pulled this off handheld.

Awesome shot! I love the softness the fur looks but the sharpness the eyes are. I am not sure I like the leaves on the bottom of the frame but other than that I love this shot!

Fabulous shot, but which month is it? The challenge was to name the shot after the month it represents... so this does not meet the challenge, which is unfortunate. I always knock a couple of points off for the DNMC, but I'm scoring this one so highly in this challenge that I don't think it will affect you!
