LOL!by socalsteveComment by GIS_boy: A nice moment between child and parent (?) captured in this one. The light is too harsh, (midday?) resulting in some unfortunate shadows around the eyes and neck. DOF is good but background is still distracting. Best of luck. |

Week 1: Bad Omenby socalsteveComment by Ken: Lighting makes this shot, and indeed your model (you?) looks quite scary. I like the door, but the lighting isn't as intense as the rest of the photo. The dark negative space also enhances the effect. |

Week 1: Bad Omenby socalsteveComment by boyd2000: PAW - Creative shot. I agree with comments it would be better with the man closer to the door. Also, he looks disinterested. If he had a menacing look it would be much more effective if that was your purpose. On the other hand maybe it was your neighbor coming over for dinner and loaning you his carving knife. |
