Dorothy passed away on 7/19/08, ending their 68 year marriage, just 4 days after Pete's 99th birthday (about 4 months after this shot was taken). Pete is still going strong and sharp as ever but completely heartbroken after losing his sweetheart. They first met 85 years ago in 1923. They defined what love and marriage are all about.

This was likely the last shot of them together.

Well lit. the lighting gives a very natural feel to the shot. I think the DOF is actually useful here.

There seems to be a glare across the image (light from the back), the angle is not pleasing (tilted to left)

I feel a slight shift to the left with your position would have given a little more weight to the walkway and the lighthouse. I still like it though. 7
