The black structure forming a border at the left-hand edge would add interest, but in my view there's too much of it and it becomes obtrusive in an otherwise very nice shot.

The sky here is lovely and, though dramatic, it does not really contribute to a tormented feel for me. Your use of sillhouette is very nice here; perhaps a different object sillhouetted would work better to convey a tormented mood: a twisted tree, or dead branches or something? I'm also just a bit colorblind, so may be missing some colors that lead to a tormented mood.

This is great!! The only thing I would change is to bring out the horizon on the left, but I would imaging that to lighten the whole image enough for that would blow the highlights unacceptably. Anyway, I love it!

Great specimen! I have a really good image of a similar species myself. Unfortunately, I find this image lacking in tonal range and the critical focus is not on the EYES. Seems unsharp overall.
