This is one of my 8s - I like it a good deal. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:

1. Fascinating choices you've made - suggest a story and then confine it to 'mere' background while trying to distract us with a couple of brooms. I think that is a little bit of genius!

2. The back room / scene makes us want to shift our viewing perspective and to get a better sense of what is going on.

3. That flash of green and red attracts our attention and we begin to wonder what those artefacts are.

Overall, an image steeped in ambiguity. Great stuff.

I like this a lot. Pleasant b&w image. Good conversion. The motion blur of the plants is an interesting contrast to the hills and beach below. 8

Really cool that the focus is on the brooms. Love how sharp and desaturated they are. That wall and the textures on it look amazing. Also it's nicely divided in two halves - one out of focus and one in focus. Love it.
