I was waiting for tiberius to participate in this challenge. And if it's not him it's definitely Hong Kong - never been there but read recently the childhood memoirs of Martin Booth and googled Kowloon and all the places he mentioned and gasped in amazement and sometimes in horror.
I find this image perfect for what Gursky wants to show. Imagine it printed really large or imagine yourself there!

Interesting concept, and I'm guessing if you were on a ferry as well there wasn't much chance to reposition yourself, but the concept has a lot more potential than this implementation of it uses.
