As Mariuca said, "Moreover, the diptych can be seen as one image also." It's an extraordinary zipper fertile in possibility. The lines of the jutting bars and knife-edge buildings are entrancing. The details invite exploration. I especially enjoy the gold and green glows emanating from some of the windows.

The perspective of looking up and seeing the barbed wire and spikes of the gates in this city street with the buildings looming high above makes one question how they feel at this particular spot. Does it give a sense of the security or does it make one feel imprisoned within these tall walls? That is a question that is up to the viewer as to how they perceive this. A good photo with an interesting perspective that makes one stop and think. |
