The Bluesby jhess77Comment by ShutterPug: The jeans look to be in good condition so it makes me wonder if they are being thrown out or hung to dry. But then why hang freshly washed jeans to hang on a nasty smelly dumpster? A very thought provoking image. Good work on the selective desat. |

The Bluesby jhess77Comment by boyd2000: PAW - The selective desat really points out the subject of this. Did you find it that way or plant the jeans? They look pretty new. The pavement and wall keep this from being too busy. Message edited by author 2009-01-20 00:53:20. |

The Bluesby jhess77Comment by quiche: Now that's an innovative clothesline. I like the use of desat here, although I think the blue in the jeans is too intense. Maybe tone it down just a bit. |

Browns Additions Sanctuaryby jhess77Comment by Ken: This has quite a bit of impact, but even before I read the comments I wished the cross and surrounding were lit up a bit. I look forward to seeing more of your photos in this challenge. |

Browns Additions Sanctuaryby jhess77Comment by raish: I'd say this doesn't quite make it. It very nearly does though, and I think you might get a similar and better shot ne of these days. Maybe with raked sunlight just picking out the cross and some more white stuff - the dark, foreboding building against the busy sky is good. |

Browns Additions Sanctuaryby jhess77Comment by boyd2000: PAW - Good capture. I like the texture on the clouds overhead. Adding to SandyP's comment I wonder if a narrow-beam 6v lantern flashlight shining up on the cross would make it look more glowing without being too obvious. |
