Nice effect with the blurred out man. Not sure it really goes with the background though. They do not seem to compliment each other or really tell a story. I do not like these letterox borders. In this case the border stands out here as much as the photo.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: A dying breed - in more ways than one! What an interesting composition - the juxtaposition between the foreground and background subjects is as stark as it is effective - I really like that. I like the colours of the bus too and the overall golden lighting hue.

Critical stuff: The foreground hand - without it I think the image would have much more mystery; it would make me think more about where you were in relation to the subject what you took the shot.

Overall: A very effective image.

A very good seascape and sunset image. The exposure is pretty good. The foreground and middle area focus seems good. The detail in the clouds seems a bit muddy, as if beyond the DOF plane. The top and middle light is dynamic. The foreground light and colors are flat.

I don't quite understand what is Overwhelming about this picture. But since this is also a minimal editing challenge (and my own entries title was quite a stretch) I am voting on image quality mainly. And this is a fantastic image for minimal editing! Very nice, with beautiful colors, good composition, white balance etc. 7
