A Dying Breedby JimiRoseComment by bvy: Looks like some residual nixter. I want to like this more than I do, but it feels kind of accidental -- or disjointed. I'm not making a connection between your two subjects, though your composition suggests that maybe there is one.
And what's the dying breed? Smokers? Straphangers? Blurry people? I must be missing something (wouldn't be the first time)... |

Rhythm & Treble Duotoneby JimiRoseComment by bohemka: Great photo. Excellent focal point, great tones. Nice curves. One of the better entries for sure.
In other news, this would have been a good Misquotes entry, because as soon as I saw Rhythm/Treble, the first thing that came to mind was Public Enemy's The Rhythm, the Rebel from Rebel Without a Pause. The Rhythm, the Treble would have gotten a good vote from me at least. (Sadly I'm not voting in this one, but this deserves high marks regardless). |
