Actually the focus is at the far side of the cupped cap of the tack. It makes an interesting subject because of the shape, and the texture in the metal there. The shadow like a reflection is cool too.
You didn't post shooting info, but I am guessing from DOF that aperture was about f 5.6 or 8.

I would have liked to have seen this at a different angle revealing the underneath of the tack. That shadow is distracting but again, it reveals the shape of the object.

Nice colours in this. Focus is placed nicely at the foreground and the dof is gradual, which makes the colours of the pastels still lovely to look at.

Sharper than the last - so you're doing better. You might run this through Neat Image or the equivalent to clean the noise up.
