The photo is excellent. However, I could not tell what your photo was of and I didn't know off-hand what 'Giro' was. I had to google it to find out. I think that's kind of a bad idea for such an awesome photo. I may be wrong but I think that will keep you from getting a ribbon: unless everybody who doesn't know what it is looks it up for themselves. Good luck to you, I'm going with a 9 and not a 10 because you caused me so much trouble! }:>) Not really: 10!

I can tell that it is a helmet, but if I was just glancing at it, I never would have noticed it. The colors are a little dark, and I can't see enough of the helmet.

Captures her expression nicely, good composition, whites in the bg are a touch distracting from the model, maybe dodge the eyes a little to "bring them out"

She's a pretty girl, but other than that, I don't see a lot making this image stand out from the crowd.

I do like the sharpness of the main subject and the effective use of DOF to isolate her from the background, though.
