Hi, this is not as horrible as you think...I'm gonna say what everyone tells me, the lighting seems flat. I would try to separate the baby from the background abit...either by distance, by a background light, or both. Next time I think the pose would be better if you could tuck Madison's arms up onto Mom's hands. The pose is 'uncomfortable' to me. I love how Mom's hands are holding Madison, but I don't like the arms dangling.
In my picture of Jordan, I had my flash bouncing off the ceiling and I think it gives the photo dimension. Have fun playing with that gorgeous baby!

I rather like this. Your model is nicely framed. My only real criticism is the leaves in front of her hair. They are just a little distracting.

I would darken and/or crop part of that bright sky so it doesn't compete so much with the cute face.

in this one the colors look really washed out, also the blown outs on his face are distracting, focus doesn't seem to be on his face either. compostiton is quite uninteresting, maybe you could have chosen a lower angle to include the background (beware of the horizon line "chopping off" his head) or a higher angle with him looking up as to blur the grass a lil more and get a more interesting POV.
doesn't mean to offend, just trying to give an honest critic. ;)
