A Place to Restby androgeusComment by Teafran: A terrific demonstration of perfect composition from the light orange background, the ever so slightly contrasting stalk and the beautifully detailed butterfly - this is why the time taken to compose and capture is so very important. Solid WOW factor - by rights a top ten image. |

Oil Emulsionby androgeusComment by kivgaen: I stared at this image for a long time because there was something about it that was bothering me but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. I realized that it was the darkness that I don't like. Overall, I love the concept and the result, but perhaps it could have been brighter to get a higher mark from me. |
