Carousel horses hold so much memories of one's childhood - they also symbolize childhood for so many that is why even as adults we are enchanted with them. I really like - scratch that I really love this shot for it has the carousel horse emerging from the darkness - like a pleasent memory coming to the surface. The horse itself is elegantly crafted and with the play of light and shadows we really come to appreciate all it's colorful features and the wonderful textures seen on it's strong neck. Wonderful job!
