Oh, I love the background. It complements and offsets the subject beautifully. I like the DOF with the bee's fuzzy butt head and the fuzzy stem and leaves on the plant. The water drops are nice too and I like the diagonal line.

I noticed your ISO was at 1600 - good job getting it so clean.. what did it look like before the pp to remove the grain? I like her expression and as Germaine noted, the color and movement in this shot is delightful and Iraklis comments re. her blurred hands accetuating her movement is spot on.

This is very interesting Maggie! Haven't got a clue what it is though!! Maybe a bamboo pipe from a water feature in your garden?? Like the drop effect around the rubber band, the colours in the 'pipe' and the beautiful DOF
