the art filter and poppy pastels give it a cartoonish quality. feels more like a background than a complete photo.

This really works for me. I'm not a hard sell on painterly treatments of subjects like these. But I do find myself a bit distracted by the fragments of foliage on the upper left and lower right portions of the frame. The clouds and water would feel a bit more balanced (to my eye) with those cloned out. But otherwise, the emotional impact is superior.

Love that sky texture and the colors, along with the sweep of the lake. Wish there were a few more of those purple flowers to provide a stronger foreground.
