The crop may be it as well, but I almost think it's the angle of the shot on the butterfly and the leaf lead me sharply up and away from the image in an "uncomfortable" eye movement, which is why I also tilted my head a bit. If the angle was from behind the butterfly a bit, I think it would help lead me into the image more. But that's just my untrained opinion.

Great sharp shot. Two things bother me a little, the fact that it's kinda a half cropped in shot, I think I want to either see the full thing or to be cropped in even tighter. I keep wanting to tilt my head to look at it too
