By the DOF, I am guessing that this was shot at about f5.6? The DOF with the 100mm at closest focus is only about 1/8 inch when it is wide open, and is only about an inch at f8. The butterfly is almost an illusion to me about which way it is turned, but the legs indicate that it is facing away from the camera. In any case, I like the colors a lot, and the composition is pleasing with the crossed green stems.
With such shallow DOF, it's sometimes very difficult to decide exactly where to put the focus point, and even more so when there is any breeze at all.

This is a classic flower photo. Nice tones, sharp in all the right spots, blurred in all the right spots. Really pretty.
